Corporate Social Responsibility
DCL is committed to contributing to the economic development of the region through generation primary, secondary and tertiary employment and business opportunities to the local people which in turn help in improving the quality of life of the local community and society at large.
Glimpse of CSR activities undertaken:
- Free of cost provision of anti venom serum for snake bites in DCL dispensary
- Provision of free medical facilities and first-aid medicines to neighbouring villagers.
- Free of cost drinking water supply to nearby Mahankaligudem village on a regular basis and to a few other neighbouring villages during summer months including construction of a large overhead water tank at Janpahad dargah
- Free education up to X standard to children from neighbouring villages in DCL High School
- Supply of subsidized/free of cost cement for certain public/good causes such as constriction of roads, schools, places of worship etc in the neighbouring villages
